Katrina was introduced to Jesus Christ as a child but did not receive His free gift of salvation until she was 36 and had survived a head-on car accident. After that she fully trusted Him to be her Savior and Lord. Katrina moved to Yucaipa in 2019 after selling her home in Highland where she attended Immanuel Baptist Church. She had become a widow in 2014 after her husband died from leukemia and she could not afford to keep her home any longer. Katrina started serving with the Civil Review Board of Yucaipa in 2020 as an advocate for children and parents. In 2021 she retired from the San Bernardino School District after 36 years of service. In January of 2022 she decided to find a church locally and visited Grace Point Fellowship. For the first time since Covid she heard the truth being preached and was truly inspired hearing God speak through Pastor Randy! She decided then and there that Grace Point was her church and started serving immediately in the Grief Share Ministry where she had already been serving in her previous church. It was at Grief Share that she met her husband Rick and they were married in 2022. Together we have 3 adult children, 5 grandchildren and now live in Banning. Katrina has always worked with children and has been an advocate for them. She finds it a true honor to serve at Grace Point Fellowship with this amazing team of brothers and sisters in Christ!
